Les Cocktails à base de Cognac


Hot Cognac Cocktails.


Brûlot.


-80g sugar
- 2 lemon zests
- 2 pinches of cinnamon
- 4 cloves
- 5cl Cognac, already heated
- Flour
- melted butter

Blend. Add the flour and the melted butter. Pour the coffee while stirring.

Coffee diablo.


- 1 lemon zest
- 1 orange zest
- 2 cloves
- 1 cl orange liquor
- 2cl Cognac

Shake. Heat all the ingredients over low heat. Ignite before boiling. Pour into the coffee.

Cognac Coffee.


- 2cl Cognac
- 2cl Vanilla cream.
- 3cl fresh cream
- Some sugar
- 6cl Coffee

Shake. Pour the coffee.

Royal Alhambra


- 4.5cl Cognac
- 1cl orange peel
- 1 hot chocolate cup
- 2 teaspoons fresh cream

Pour some hot chocolate in a cup. Squeeze the orange peel above the cup and leave it in the cup.


Royal Coffee


- Cognac
- Sugar
- Hot coffee

Pour some very hot coffee in a cup. Balance a spoon on a cup. Put a sugar on the spoon and water it with Cognac. Make it flambé and once the flame goes out, plunge the sugar into the coffee. Flambé some hot cognac in a ladle. Gently pour it into the cup. Add if you want a spoon of fresh cream.

- 1cl grenadine
- 2cl banana cream
- 1cl Cognac

Pour the ingredients on the back of the spoon.

-2cl Cognac
-2cl orange juice
- 2cl lime juice

Kamikaze Cognac


- 2cl Cognac
- 2cl Orange liquor (cointreau, grand marnier…)
- 2cl lemon juice

Sweet Cognac


- 1/3 Cognac
- 1/3 orange juice
- 1/3 lime juice

With a Shaker: shake and pour in the shooter.

Tonic Cognac


2/3 schweppes
1/3 Cognac


Blackcurrant Cognac


¼ blackcurrant cream
¾ Cognac

Pour the Cognac slowly on the cream of blackcurrant to obtain two different layers.

-5cl Cognac
- 2cl cocoa cream
- 2cl fresh cream

Pour cream and Cognac into a shaker filled half with ice. Shake and serve.

America


-3cl Cognac
-1cl Malibu
- 2cl pineapple juice
- 1,5cl passion fruit juice
- 1 dash of fresh cream

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled half with ice. Shake and serve in a cocktail glass.

American Fizz


-4cl Cognac
-2cl Gin
- 3cl lemon juice
- 2 dashes of grenadine cordial
- soft drink

Pour all the ingredients except soft drink into a shaker filled half with ice. Shake and serve in a tumbler, and finally add soft drink.

Andalousia


- 3cl Cognac
- 1cl Campari
- 1cl peach cream
- -1,5cl lemon juice
- 1cl orange juice
- Tonic

Pour all the ingredients except tonic into a shaker filled half with ice. Shake and serve in a whisky glass. Finally add Tonic.

Appetiser cocktail


- 4cl Cognac
- 5 dashes Angostura
- 5 dashes Marasquin

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled half with ice. Blend and serve in a cocktail glass.

- 3cl Cognac
- 3cl Cointreau
- 3cl Bailey’s

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled half with ice. Drink it at one go. Possibility of making it flambé.

Bagarre Cocktail


-2cl of Anisette (anise alcohol)
- 2cl Gin
-2cl Cognac
- 1 egg yolk

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled half with ice. Shake and serve in a cocktail glass.

Bora Bora


-2cl of Amer Picon
- 2cl Kirsh
- 2cl vodka
-2cl Cognac

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled 2/3 with ice. Blend and serve in a cocktail glass.

-2cl Brandy
- 1 dash of Benedictine
- 2cl of red Martini
- 4cl Cognac
- 1 dash of redcurrant cordial

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled half with ice. Shake and serve in a cocktail glass.

-1,5cl Cherry
-5cl Cognac
-1,5cl Cocoa cream
-1 egg yolk

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled half with ice. Shake and serve in a cocktail glass. Add some cocoa powder on the top.

- 2 dashes of raspberry cream
- 1cl kummel liquor

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled half with ice. Shake and pour in a cocktail glass.

Zéphir


-3cl Cognac
- Champagne
- 1.5cl red Curaçao
- 1cl lime juice
-1cl blackcurrant cream

Pour all the ingredients except the Champagne into a shaker filled half with ice. Shake and serve in a tall Champagne glass. Finally add with the Champagne.

Cognac Sparkling water


-2cl VSOP Cognac
-ice
- 6 to 8 cl sparkling water

Cognac Gingerale


- 2cl VS or VSOP Cognac
- 6 to 8cl gingerale


Cogna cfloater


- VSOP Cognac
- Soft drink
- Ice.

Pour the soft drink, then pour slowly the VSOP Cognac which should remain on the surface.

Kiss of fire

- 2cl Cognac
- 1 dash of strawberry cordial
- 3cl orange liquor
- 1 teaspoon of fresh cream

Shake. Add a strawberry.

Brandy Egg Nog


- 4cl Cognac
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon of sugar


Brandy Flip


- 6cl Cognac
- 2cl Fresh cream
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 egg yolk

Shake and sprinkle with ground nutmeg

Stinger


-4cl Cognac
- 2cl white peppermint cream

Shake with ice. Pour in a cocktail glass.
